The evolution of the concept 'The area of freedom, security and justice of the European Union" led to the transformation of the concept of "state sovereignty " - Vişinescu Ionuţ-Gabriel
Abstract: The interstate cooperation has existed ever since the emergence of the first states in the world. It was firstly limited to a standard of geographical proximty, then it was expanded to regional and international cooperation. The necessity of creating an european incentive for freedom, security and justice has appearead towards the end of the XXth Century as a possibilty of developing the cooperation between the member states of the European Union. These issues being emphasized the objects of my research paper consist of studying  the evolution over time of  the cooperation concept and the form in which states have perceived to develop such a cooperation inside the European Union from the Maastricht Treaty until the Lisbon Treaty, studying which is the dimension of prerogatives assignation of the member states and last but not least studying which are the effects of the EU integration over the the sovereignity of the states.
