Part IV

Corneliu Liviu POPESCU, Ph.D. in Law, Professor, Case Law of the European Court of Human Rights and Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe concerning Cases against Moldova in 2006
In 2006, the European Court of Human Rights adopted 16 decisions (only a quarter decided the admissibility of the application) and 20 judgments (violations of Articles 3, 5, 6, 11, 13 and 34 of the Convention and 1 of Protocol no. 1 being declared) in cases concerning individual complaints against Moldova.

In 4 interim resolutions of the Committee of Ministers adopted during the same year, this organ decided that Moldova did not fully accomplished its obligations of the Court's judgments and invited this state to act accordingly.
