This paper deals with religious symbols present in national constitutions. A detailed analysis of several Constitutions highlights three categories of states: Constitutions which include regulations with a strong religious character; Constitutions which include regulations with a moderate religious character; Constitutions that do not include regulations concerning religion and religious symbols.
